Postpartum Doulas are guides into the new found chapter of parenthood.
Hello! My name is Meghan Betts and I am a trained, soon to be certified postpartum doula. I am trained in newborn care, lactation support and specialize in cesarean recovery support. I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Child Development from Sacramento State University where I studied early childhood development and attachment in newborns up to school aged children.
I am a wife to my wonderful husband of more than a decade and a homeschooling mama to our 4 sweet children. I was born and raised here on the central coast and currently live in Nipomo.
I would be honored to be a part of your journey in becoming a family for the first time or with the
addition of siblings. The fourth trimester is a beautiful roller coaster of time and I would love to help make the ride as smooth as possible for you and your growing family.
Hi, I am a trained birth and postpartum doula serving the Central Coast. I believe every birther has a right to feel confident and powerful during birth. I believe birthers should be encouraged to follow their maternal instincts, be provided the opportunity for informed consent, have their choices respected, their body honored, and their partner included as desired.
I also enjoy sharing my knowledge of newborn care and postpartum planning/assistance. I would be honored to be part of your birth journey.
Hello! My Name is Lauren Hammer. I am a trained and a certified pregnancy massage practitioner!
My passion for birth stemmed from a negative experience with a birth provider when I was pregnant with my son. After that, I dove head first into finding all of my options and found a wonderful midwife. She inspired me so much I changed my career goals to follow my new found love of caring for babies and mamas! While I intend to one day become a midwife, I am honored to serve as a doula on the central coast to gain priceless experience.
My joy is helping families navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum! I adore watching women usher new life into the world and marvel at their strength to do so. I believe all birth is beautiful and I would be thrilled to come alongside and support you, whether you want a home birth with a trained midwife, a planned & informed c-section or anything in between!
